Professionally, I have maintained a studio since 1996. My art education started at age seven tagging along with my Mom to an adult painting class at the local university. My first gallery showing was at the age sixteen. While my artist resume reflects mostly my work in ceramics, my education includes two years of study in a professional acting conservatory as well as numerous classes and workshops in acrylic and watercolor painting, pen and ink, charcoal, pastels, collage, weaving, surface design, dance and music. I was born and raised in Northern California in a town called Mckinleyville. I moved to Washington with my family when I was 18. I live with my husband Don, daughters Samantha aka Puddy and Matilda aka Tilla the hun and my brother Sam! We have two dogs, Simon Huckleberry and Napolian...two cats, Pistol Pete and Timothy Tinker, two gunea pigs named Marty and Super Girl, lots of degus(sort of like gerbils) 6 hens, a rabbit named Roody, a box turtle named Oscarilla, three chinchillas, two macaw parrots named Macaroni and Audrey and various lizards and insects.
